A contemporary abstract series of work which was inspired by walking the scenic paths and viewing the beautiful peacocks that strut through the "Grounds for Sculpture" gardens. Rendered in a painterly style with monotype marks, and organic textures, and shapes, the imagery was inspired by their effervescent colors, which undoubtedly created a lasting impression. Sprinkled among splashes of teal, greens, blues, and turquoise, is a hint of purple along with white and gray, all reminiscent of their vibrant quality.
