Tower Behavioral Health
Hospital Commission

SRA developed a series of workshops and created over 104 artworks.

Part of the newly built hospital’s vision is to not only treat those within their community, but to truly be a part of it.
The intent is through their ongoing promotion of both advocacy and education for those who experience mental illness as well as for the community at large.

This art project provided staff, patients, and alumni, an opportunity to do just that! The overall response to these innovative workshops was overwhelmingly positive and created everlasting artwork that will line the walls of this
state-of-the art facility. The body of dynamic and striking work reflect the unique experiences of everyone who participated.

SRA workshops are designed to highlight the creative monotype process, a painterly form of printmaking. The printing technique offer easy, creative and beautiful results for self-expression in the hospital setting. This series of workshops encouraged learning from each and every participant as well as the facilitators.
