Printmaking in the
Hospital Setting
Transformational, Fun, and Educational SRA Workshops
Sandy Rosen Art (SRA) offers new creative outlets and tools to enhance stress reduction, and coping methods in the hospital setting.
On-site printmaking workshops are available for patients, staff, alumni, nurses, social workers, as well as family members. We help facilitate creativity while teaching an art process that explores new opportunities for coping, self-reflection, confidence, along with creative self-expression.
The workshops focus on self–discovery, help to reduce stress, while the patients experience a new art form in a creative environment. Our goal is to encourage positive-identity, trust, and exploration while learning from each other.
The monotype printmaking process allows for happenstance! Participants rely on their inner voice, finding alternate ways to express their vision, and explore new ways which are relevant and important in their lives.
Working from nature and found objects, their hands explore, their eyes imagine and their words flow to inspire and embody the transformative message pulled with each print! Transformational, fun & educational, serendipity abounds, producing unique, & beautiful prints.
